Bereavement Teleconference
Hope HealthCare Services will host the Hospice Foundation of America’s 19th Annual National Bereavement Teleconference, “End-of-Life Ethics.”
Many topics will be discussed, including:
- Ethical dilemmas such as communication, surrogate decision-making and artificial nutrition
- Complicating factors when the patient is a child
- The influence of cultural values and beliefs
- Decisions that must be made, and by whom
Hope will provide continuing education credits at no cost.
A panel of local experts will address the issues and respond to questions from the audience immediately following the national teleconference. The program will be useful at all levels of education – entry, intermediate and advanced.
