Hope VALOR Program for Veterans

Veterans’ Access to Life Opportunities & Resources

At Hope, we understand the special needs veterans face when it comes to quality end-of- life care. That’s why we have created the VALOR program to help all veterans receive the specialized care they deserve.

Recognition Certificate
A customized recognition package honors veterans for their dedication and service to our country. The package is presented by special Hope Volunteers, known as the Honor Guard (pictured).

VALOR Counselors
Counselors assist in accessing benefits and understand the relevance of a person’s military service to the care he or she receives.

Collaborative Partnership
Hope works in conjunction with area VA clinics to provide the best possible care to veterans in their own homes or facilities.

Veteran’s History Project
We facilitate the “Veteran’s History Project” through the Library of Congress. The project collects and archives personal recollections of US wartime veterans to honor their service and share their stories with current and future generations.
