Hope Connections -  Glades / Hendry

Through Hope Connections, many elderly adults in Glades and Hendry counties can receive meals and in-home care. They may also receive transportation to or from doctor's offices, community services, shopping and errands. Our staff also help seniors maintain their independence by assisting with:

  • Eating
  • Dressing
  • Personal Hygiene
  • Meal Preparation

Home Delivered Meals
We help homebound seniors continue to live independently by bringing meals to them. These meals are prepared specificially to meet the nutritional needs of older individuals and to provide a balanced diet. Frequent contact with Hope Connections staff and volunteers alleviates loneliness and allows us to monitor the individual's situation.

Congregate Meal Sites
For those who enjoy dining and socializing with others, hot nutritious lunches are also served at Hope Connections meal sites, in a comfortable group setting.
