Caregiving Options
Sometimes caregivers find themselves unable to provide the intensive care their loved one requires. The reality of a 24-hour-a-day responsibility can quickly become overwhelming. Working caregivers may struggle to balance the demands of a career with the needs of a loved one. Others may not feel confident that they can provide the level of care that is medically required.

Adult Day Health Care can help and provides:

  • a respite from caregiving duties
  • a resource for managing health care responsibilities
  • an economical alternative to full-time institutional care

Besides the obvious advantages for caregivers, their loved ones experience many benefits as well. Through social interactions with peers, stimulating activities, and therapeutic health services, participants will enjoy better quality of life.

Other Benefits
In addition to the social services offered by traditional adult day care centers, Hope Life Care can provide more intensive health services for individuals with severe medical problems, especially those at higher risk of nursing home placement.

Our activities are designed specifically to enhance cognitive function and physical health for individuals with:

  • Alzheimer's disease
  • Dementia
  • Chronic illnesses
  • Developmental disabilities
  • Other functional limitations

Nurses will be present during all hours of operation to administer medications, monitor blood pressure, and test blood sugar levels, as needed.

All Hope Adult Day Health Care staff are specially trained to accommodate incontinence, speech impairment, limited mobility, memory deficiency, as well as other unique needs and requirements.

Activities and Special Features
Individuals attending the Adult Day Health Center will be able to enjoy activities like:

  • A daily exercise program, volleyball, bowling and more
  • Gardening and outdoor activities
  • Bingo, Pokeno, Jenga, card games and board games

  • Musical activities, painting and other sensory activities
