Hope Chest, located in North Fort Myers, is the resale store for Hope Hospice. It features over 30,000 square feet of quality merchandise. New items arrive daily, and weekly sales offer shoppers bargains that are below the everyday low prices. Proceeds from sales at Hope Chest benefit Hope Hospice patients and families.

The Boutique - This unique section of Hope Chest houses bridal wear, prom dresses, evening gowns, cocktail dresses and formalwear for all special occasions. You may also be surprised to discover designer labels on some of the Boutique's merchandise!

The Holiday Room - The Holiday Room offers Christmas decorations and items all year long, including trees, wreaths, dinnerware and more. In addition, it is well-stocked for other seasonal holidays, including Halloween, Thanksgiving, Easter and others.

The Treasure Chest - A true bargain hunter's paradise, this section is discounted even more. Many different kinds of treasures can be found here, often for less than $1 each.

Donations
Many people ask where we get all of the high quality merchandise that Hope Chest has to offer. A generous community donates everything Hope Chest sells, from clothing and kitchenware, to furniture and electronics.

Donations may be brought to the back of the store (look for the designated drop off area) any time during the hours of operation. Pickup service is available for furniture.

All donations are tax deductible; receipts are given to donors for their financial records. Please note that the IRS requires donors to estimate the market value of items. Hope Chest cannot make this estimate for you.

Volunteers
Our store is staffed by volunteers with support from staff management. Volunteers perform a variety of tasks within the store, including accepting donations, sorting items, pricing and stocking.

Hope Chest always welcomes new volunteers. If you have time to spare, flexible schedules are easily arranged. Heavy lifting is not required, and anyone age 14 and older is eligible to volunteer. Training is provided.
